Administration Module

This module handles all the initial data to be fed in like the channel name, details of the organization/channel, user details, user profiling/rights,module association for each user and the database settings.

Transmission Tape Management System

The Transmission Tape Management System keeps track of all the tapes of all the events i.e. Program, Commercials, Promos, Fillers, Slides & Stills; it has in its possession along with their detailed Run Sheet recording having second to second information on the tape. The courier details, exporter details, exporter invoice & all tape-related reports are taken care of by the system.

FPC Management System

The FPC Management System produces the Fixed Program Chart daily for all the channels of PTC NEWS Network. It also contains all the details of the Channel i.e. Program time slots, Movies for the month, all permanent and temporary program changes, all episode & sponsorship details of programs telecasted. It also generates all FPC related reports.

Scheduling System

The Transmission log, which runs the channel, has to be generated and sent to transmission centre daily for all the channels. The log is the heart and soul of the channel operation. It contains second to second information of what events should run on the channel on the specified date. The system also generates all Scheduling related reports.

Sales Administration System

The Sales Administration System records all Release Orders, Reschedules and Cancellations of commercial bookings. It also keeps track of all Client-Agency-Brand-Commercial linkages, various payment routes, and PTC NEWS Executive's link with Clients who are under their Zone etc. The system also generates all Commercial Bookings related reports.

Billing System

The Billing system automatically matches all booked commercials with those that are actually telecasted and generates weekly billing with required audit. It also generates all reports required for billing, some of which are used to print on pre-printed billing stationary.

MIS Application

The MIS module handles comprehensive reporting for individual departments like programming, credit control, scheduling and billing.

The reports are customized as per the needs of the client. The MIS module also encompasses and user driven reporting tool where the user puts in combination of values to pull out a report.

FPC Segment Details

This report gives you all the tapes details present for programs scheduled on the specified date in Daily FPC. This report is basically a check (before making the transmission log) to see if all details have come for the programs and the tape details entry are correct.

Final Audit Report

This report gives information about program offshoot or undershoots. In case of an undershoot necessary promos and fillers can be scheduled and for offshoot the following programs can be dropped. This report must be used before making the final log.

Date wise Booking Check List

This report gives a check list which indicates no of commercials, total send in transmission log and total send as log updates program slot wise (dailyfpc wise) for that date. This report is a cross check that all commercials for

Admin Module

This module plays the important role of creating users and associating rights to individuals. This module is managed by the system admin or a senior person who is responsible for the whole flow.

This module allows one to create various departments, employees,rights to individual employees etc.It also allows one to maintain a database of all vendors associated with the organization for various requirements.

Requisition Module

This module would be accessed by users to raise requisitions. It would also allow the logged in user to see the status of the requisition whether approved/not approved if not approved then the reason and if approved what is the status and how far it has gone ahead.

Budgeting Module

This module is where budgets for individual departments are created with a break up of the components that build up the whole cost.

These components get linked automatically when a capex/Opex is raised making it easy for the management to do a comparison online for the Budget v/s Expenditure.

Inventory Module

This forms the heart of the purchase department where every small inventory detail with respect to purchase v/s consumption is kept track of.This also helps in curbing expenditure especially related to daily office usage articles like cartridges, tapes.

Purchase order

This module becomes the end point for a requisition that was generated by an employee.

Here a PO is generated to purchase a product / component once a go ahead is received from various levels.

Billing Module

Here individual bills can be generated against the purchase orders. Also scanned copy of existing bills can be maintained as documents for any future audit purpose.

MIS

This module is the Management module where at any given point of time person logging into the MIS system based on his/her rights knows the exact status of every PO and every requisition.

It would also give the user an in depth graphical analysis of all the activities.
